Nollamara woman (32) charged over allegedly threatening Girrawheen shopping centre security guard with syringe

A WOMAN was recently charged after she allegedly threatened to stab a security guard with a syringe at a Girrawheen shopping centre.

Police had been investigating the matter for nearly a month before charging her on September 20.

The 32-year-old Nollamara resident is accused of becoming violent after attempting to steal food at a Newpark shopping centre supermarket on August 30.

Security followed the woman to the carpark where she allegedly brandished the syringe.

She was charged with robbery.
