TWO local university students are about to spend a week at the University of California, Los Angeles as part of a leadership program.
Curtin University’s Leadership Centre in partnership with the LEAP Foundation, have offered scholarships to Currambine’s Sidharth Savadia, who is studying a Bachelor of Engineering, and Kingsley’s Victoria Barker, who is studying a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce.
They will take part in the LEAP program from July 24 to 30, where they will be housed in the UCLA dormitories and attend a week of development activities including mentor workshops, tours and presentations from high profile speakers.
