TWO local university students are about to spend a week at the University of California, Los Angeles as part of a leadership program.

Curtin University’s Leadership Centre in partnership with the LEAP Foundation, have offered scholarships to Currambine’s Sidharth Savadia, who is studying a Bachelor of Engineering, and Kingsley’s Victoria Barker, who is studying a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce.

They will take part in the LEAP program from July 24 to 30, where they will be housed in the UCLA dormitories and attend a week of development activities including mentor workshops, tours and presentations from high profile speakers.

The program is designed for 500 young leaders from across the world who have been selected to develop the fundamental leadership tools that are integral to creating success in life.
