The former Sacred Heart College student was crowned this month as the inaugural winner of model quest show, The Face Australia, alongside runner-up Sarah Tilleke, also a graduate of the school.

‘It was pretty incredible, I was not shocked, but very overwhelmed, it happened really quickly,’ Miss Donaldson said.

The 20-year-old model, mentored by judge Cheyenne Tozzi, said her experience in the competition was invaluable.

‘It was amazing, nothing like I expected, it was long hours and full-on workwise and so amazing to work with Naomi (Campbell), Cheyenne, Nicole (Trunfio), the host Georges (Antoni) and photographers,’ she said.

‘I won a contract with. Fresh Effects by Olay for six months so I’m living in Sydney now focusing on being a good ambassador and taking every opportunity as it comes.’

Miss Donaldson said she would focus on modelling for now and would later return to her psychology and journalism studies at the University of WA.

‘I have always tried to balance school and work, and once I started uni I did six months on and six months off,’ she said.

Sacred Heart College principal Peter Bothe said he was incredibly proud of Miss Donaldson and Miss Tilleke.

‘Both girls brought great credit to their families and their school when they were students at Sacred Heart College,’ Mr Bothe said. ‘I am thrilled that they have done so well for themselves and I hope they always live out the college motto of always striving upwards.’
