POLICE have made one arrest after an out-of-control party involving about 80 youths in Woodvale on Saturday night.
Police were called to the Duffy Terrace residence about 11pm after numerous noise complaints.
They found about 80 youths, a large number of them apparently intoxicated.
The party organiser, a 41-year-old man, closed the party after bottles were smashed in the backyard.
A large number of the youths then gathered on the street outside the home and began fighting, creating a disturbance and yelling abuse at police.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested for disorderly behaviour and 15 juveniles were taken into care.
The organiser allegedly charged an entrance fee. Inquiries are continuing on whether he will face charges.
