Wanneroo City Council endorsed the final concept plan for Salitage Park following community consultation.
The southern section of the park will have play equipment aimed at children and teenagers, bench seating and picnic tables, about 125 advanced trees and a turf area, with construction due to commence in June.
Pending allocation of $90,000 in the City’s long- term capital works program draft budget, the northern section will include fitness equipment, a limestone path and additional benches, picnic tables and turf space.
