The petition was submitted in May asking for at least 20 bays to be developed for people using the park on the corner of Whitfords and Dampier avenues.

It said people were having to park at Whitfords Shopping City or Whitfords Avenue Medical Centre. He said people were parking on the verge when the medical centre car park was full.
