A MARANGAROO home has suffered about $200,000 worth of damage after it was engulfed by fire last night.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were called to the blaze about 9.45pm, and it took until just after midnight before it was extinguished.

Seven crews attended the fire, which destroyed about three-quarters of the Marangaroo Drive house.

Four people were reportedly at the home when the fire broke out, but no one was injured.
