Petition against laneway closure

Lucy JarvisWanneroo Times

Wanneroo councillor Sabine Winton submitted the 130-signature petition on behalf of residents at the August 18 council meeting.

It objects to a proposal to close the accessway from the cul-de-sac to Oldham Park and merge it into an adjoining property.

At Monday's Two Rocks Yanchep Residents Association meeting, Cr Linda Aitken said public consultation closed on August 20, with 26 submissions lodged as well as the petition.

Cr Aitken said submitters would be told when the report would go to the council for consideration.
