JBA president David Curry said the Heathridge-based organisation had supported people in need for many years.
‘We wanted to really be effective in our support of a very local charity,’ he said.
A health services company is the new sponsor of the event over the next five years.
Redimed chief operating officer Sally Harris said the organisation was expanding and commissioning new premises at the former RAC building in McLarty Avenue, Joondalup.
‘We are delighted to sponsor this event in support of a charity which does such great work in the local community’ she said.
People can donate items for the auction. Wild West Hyundai has donated a car and All Boats and Caravans in Kingsley a boat package.
