BUSHFIRE advice remains for smoke in the Pinjar area from yesterday’s fire that burnt through 40ha.
About 20 Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPAW) and City of Wanneroo volunteer firefighters are on site today containing and mopping up the contained fire.
It was reported about noon on Sunday near the intersection on Perry Road and Dasypogon, and firefighters’ efforts yesterday saved the Wanneroo Shooting Complex and a residential property on Perry Road.
DPAW issued advice today warning people driving through the area near Perry Road, Regelia Road and the RAAF Boundary Road to be careful, switch on headlights and drive slowly.
