The playground, in between the soccer pitches and cricket oval, incorporates nature-based adventure with conventional play equipment.

Highlights of the playground include a playable art feature named ‘Ozraptor’, a hidden skeleton buried somewhere in the playground boundaries, a giant bird nest swing and interactive sound sculptures.

The playground also features a slide, limestone stepping stones, secure fencing and integrated path network.

There are two new smaller playgrounds at the cricket and football ovals. The City contributed $593,250 to the project, with another $212,000 provided by a Lotterywest grant.
