Local poets excel at Glen Philips Poetry Prize

The WA talent was one of many locals selected in the national competition run by the Peter Cowan Writers’ Centre.

Jackson (WA) was awarded second prize for skinvisible and Jenny Blackford (NSW) third prize for The Great Beast.

McCauley also received a Highly Commended award for Ulysses S. Grant visits the Noh Theatre, 1879 along with WA’s Kevin Gillam for Chamber musing and Madeleine Tingey for Port City.
