Police hunt man injured in Girrawheen

POLICE are still searching for a man they believe would have needed medical attention after a serious assault in Girrawheen on Monday.

Officers believe four men, who were known to each other, began arguing at an Amberton Avenue address about 3.30am before a fight took place in the street near Morgan Way.

Investigators believe at least one of the men was badly injured.

Senior Sergeant Brad Burnett said police had called hospitals but none had treated a man who fitted the victim’s description.

As part of the case, police were also investigating an Alfa Romeo that was stolen from Rangeview Road in Landsdale earlier. By Tuesday, officers had located the car in Balga.

Police believe one of the men was riding an off-road trail bike in areas around Koondoola and Nollamara.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
