Police in drive-offs

Mark DonaldsonWanneroo Times

Officers have been targeting service station thefts in a recent police operation.

Warwick detectives Senior Sergeant Brad Burnett said police understood some incidents might be accidental, but those who attempted to flout the law would most likely be caught.

‘There’s numerous avenues of investigation and there’s a fair chance you’re going to be arrested and charged for it,’ he said.

Police recently charged a Girrawheen man over two fuel drive-offs at a Greenwood petrol station.
