Officers allege a 27-year-old Bickley man was running a hydroponic cannabis set-up in a Caloundra Road property when they searched the premises on October 7.
Senior Sergeant Brad Burnett said Western Power officers were called to secure the electrical aspects of the operation.
Police also searched the man’s home, where they allege he was in possession of a cannabis plant.
Sen-Sgt Burnett said investigators would examine the alleged offender’s assets, given it was a “trafficable quantity”.
