Police seek help with crash probe

A police spokesman said the driver was behind the wheel of a yellow Hyundai hatchback travelling east on Dellamarta Road at about 12.55pm on Sunday, January 24.

“At the same time, a motorcycle was being ridden west on the same road,” he said.

“The Hyundai and motorcycle collided at the intersection of Dellamarta Road and Ismail Street.”

He said the motorcycle rider, a 61-year-old Wanneroo man, received serious leg injuries and was taken to Joondalup Health Campus.

His passenger, a 55-year-old woman, suffered worse injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

The learner driver was uninjured and was the only person in the car.
