HANDMADE poppies will fill the Wanneroo Regional Museum until November 25.

The 5000 Poppies national project encourages people to make the flowers from fabric in remembrance of those who served in WWI.

The Wanneroo museum is a local collection point for the poppies, which will be collected and displayed in Federation Square, Melbourne, for the 2015 Anzac centenary commemorations.

Thousands of crocheted, sewn and knitted poppies have already been donated to the City.

All donated poppies must be made of fabric or material, not paper, be predominately red, and no more than 15cm.
