Principal warns students of stranger danger

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

In a letter sent to parents on Friday Duncraig Senior High School principal Stephen Spice said a man reportedly approached and kicked a student of another local school about 8.45am on March 18.

‘The student reports that a man who appeared to be aged between 30 and 40, with a close-cropped beard and wearing a black shirt and trousers, came out from bushland and allegedly kicked her,’ he said. The student, who was walking to school near Granadilla Park in Duncraig, ran away and reported the incident.

‘We urge all students to take care when travelling to and from school, and to report anything suspicious to parents, the school and the police,’ Mr Spice said.
