Proposal on show

The council will tonight consider approving the agreement to provide $34,100 a year for the next three Wanneroo Agricultural shows.

The sponsorship package will include it covering waste management, health services approvals, City of Wanneroo advertising, entertainment, a community marquee and cleaning for the event.

As part of the deal, the City would be acknowledged as principal sponsor and would be provided available show space.

Wanneroo's mayor will be invited to speak at the official opening and closing ceremonies with official invitations to the opening given to the mayor, councillors and the City's executive leadership team.

A report to the council at Tuesday's briefing said the show was an important event in the Wanneroo calendar each year. It is recommended for council approval.
