PEOPLE passionate about puppies and pilates are invited to a fundraising event this weekend in Wangara that combines the two.
Breathe Pilates and Greyhound Adoptions WA are hosting a class this Saturday for 20 people and five dogs to raise funds for animal rescue efforts.
The 45-minute class was the brainchild of Breathe Pilates instructor Chloe Bertolami and Greyhound Adoptions WA volunteer Andrea Pollard who share a love for pilates and puppies.
Ms Bertolami said she often brought her own dogs to classes and expected the fundraiser would be entertaining.
“I am excited as this brings two of my biggest passions together, pilates and dogs,” the Tapping resident said.
“It is even better to be able to raise some money and awareness for an amazing organisation.”
Ms Pollard, who has two greyhounds, said participants would get a chance to pat and cuddle the dogs before and after the class.
“The greyhounds will love all the attention they’ll get from everyone plus most greyhounds already have the pike pilates pose down pat,” the Hocking resident said.
“Being the lazy dogs they are I expect they may need a quick snooze halfway through to be awake and ready to receive more pats at the end of the class.”
All money raised will go to Greyhound Adoptions WA.
