Put a spring in your step and take a walk outside: Your Move Wanneroo

The program has worked with the City of Wanneroo to produce a series of pocket maps that mark out 20 to 60-minute walks.

Department of Sport and Recreation project officer Jade Browning said spring was a good time to start shaping up for summer.

“That doesn’t necessarily mean hours at the gym or pounding the pedals,” she said.

“Taking 30 minutes a day to go for a walk is a pleasant and simple way to get active.
