With $80,000 invested just in the wheels, the $1.5 million Aussie Invader 5R built in his Mullaloo shed is designed to go from a standing start to 1600km/h in 20 seconds.

‘This is the first ever liquid rocket-powered car that’s been built,’ McGlashan said.
