Radio heads on the move at Neerabup expo

WANNEROO International Kartway will host vehicles of a different kind when the WA Radio Control Expo hits the Neerabup track from 9am to 4pm this Sunday.

The Buggy Shed-organised expo aims to promote the sport of radio control.

Club co-founder Samantha Cools said the expo would feature radio-control aeroplanes and helicopters, boats, petrol and nitro buggies, electric cars, trucks and buggies and slot cars of different sizes.

‘There will be static and action/working displays showing off the variety of radio controls throughout the day including RC buggy racing and drag racing,’ she said.

This is the second event of its kind in WA after the club held its first expo last December.

Prizes will be presented to the best club or group display, individual radio control and for some racing events.

Entry is free to the public and limited space is still available for stallholders.
