Landsdale-based Fit 2 Cheer to compete in national championships

The Royals and Sapphires squads will take part in the Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation’s 2014 National Championships from November 28 to 30.

The event attracts more than 7500 participants from Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, competing for the chance to take part in the world championships in Florida, USA, next year.

The Royals is the club’s senior level three team made up of nine athletes and the Sapphires is the open pom team with 11 athletes.

These squads were recently named overall grand champions at the Cheer Unlimited Australia Stars and Stripes Cheerleading Nationals in Perth.
