Recycling centre to get over $2m

A contribution of $714,741 has been carried forward from last year, with $40,000 of new funding dedicated to modifying existing facilities to comply with workplace health and safety requests and for operational efficiencies.

Another $350,000 allocated from the domestic refuge reserve brings the total funding for the materials facility to more than $1.1 million.

Modifications to the Hartman and Motivation Drive roundabout received $133,486 carried forward from last year, while almost $500,000 was allocated to the Gnangara Road realignment and upgrade between Klaraborg Drive and Hartman Drive.

New funding from a State Government loan provided $816,000, along with $206,700 carried forward for remediation and development of lot 15 in the Wangara Industrial Area.

Street landscaping for Ocean Reef Road, between Wanneroo Road and Hartman Drive, received $65,800 from the city carried forward.
