Rezoning to align planning

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

The rezoning will bring the City’s district planning scheme in line with the metropolitan region scheme.

Four minor proposals were to: remove the original regional roads reservation for a portion of lots 209 to 212 Founders Lane in Hillarys and a portion of Founders Lane and zone to residential R20; remove the original regional roads reservation for a portion of 16 Sunlander Drive in Currambine and zone to residential R80; remove the original regional roads reservation for a portion of 2 Sunlander Drive in Currambine and zone to business; and remove the parks and recreation reservation and the Bush Forever overlay from a portion of lot 10789 and zone to residential R20.

These rezonings are consistent with the surrounding zones and densities.
