Members have been busking, holding auctions and bring-and-buy stalls so the Royal Flying Doctor Service can supply a plane with new equipment.
Talented woodworker John Timms made 75 moneybox planes with spinning propellers for members to fill with loose change.
The group’s latest effort is a car boot/garage sale and cake stall this Saturday, May 3, at the church car park, 19 Scaphella Avenue, Mullaloo from 8am.
‘RFDS are celebrating 85 years of service to remote and rural Australia,’ Super Tuesday co-ordinator Glen Vawser said.
‘You never know when you may need its services.’
Donations of saleable items, including homemade cakes, biscuits and produce, are welcome at the church at 7pm tomorrow, Friday.
