Riley reunites with rescuers at St John Ambulance Community Hero Awards

THE boy saved from a sandy trench in Jandabup last November was reunited with his rescuers on Friday.

Riley Stiles was at Government House to see them receive a meritorious service award at the annual St John Ambulance Community Hero Awards.

Receiving the award were Joel Moore, Steve Beaton, Darryl Payne, Matthew Greenfield, Chris Gleisinger, Shaun Nicolls, William Hogan, Lisa Richardson and Mark Vowles.
