The debate, organised by the Joondalup Business Association, was held at the Pavilion Restaurant at West Coast Institute of Training’s Joondalup campus.

Following a breakfast prepared by academy of hospitality students, the candidates answered questions about transport, local employment and payroll tax.

Incumbent Tony O’Gorman and Liberal challenger Jan Norberger were both keen to spruik their party’s big ticket election commitments ” the State Government’s promised multi-storey car park at Edgewater train station and Labor’s plan to upgrade Arena Joondalup.
