Roo Dogs to wear original jumpers

Staff ReporterWanneroo Times

The club is celebrating its 40th anniversary as a member of the RugbyWA competition and to commemorate the event, the club’s Premier Grade will play in a modern day version of the original green and white hooped jumper.

The club has brought together many of the original Roo Dogs from the first ever team that beat Wests 6-0.

It will be a day-long celebration of Wanneroo rugby with seven senior sides, the ladies team and 26 junior Wanneroo sides all playing.

The club’s under-6 side will play at the half-time break in the Premier Grade game.
