Royal recognition for photographers

Year 12 student Katie Clark won first place for her portrait of fellow student Ellen Campbell titled Alice in Black with second place going to Jordan Rigby for his landscape image Sugar Loaf Rock at Dusk.

Miss Clark received the Australian Photographic Society Herbert Medallion with glowing praise from the judges.

‘Good exposure and selective colour helps the subject to stand out from the background,’ commented the judges.
