A ROAD safety audit will be held at the site of a fatal crash in Landsdale earlier this year.

The Road Safety Commission announced the audit of the corner of Southmead Drive and Mirrabooka Avenue, where a 27-year-old woman was killed in January.

Road Safety Minister Liza Harvey and Commissioner Kim Papalia attended a community forum following the accident and commission officers met Landsdale Residents’ Association members at the group’s February meeting.

“The residents are obviously very concerned,” Mr Papalia said.

“Our job, as the Road Safety Commission, is not only to harness community input but to promote action where safety issues are identified.”

He said the audit would identify road safety issues at the junction.

“We will then pass that information to the City of Wanneroo,” he said.
