Principal Stephen Spice said the project would transform the front of the school.

‘Our new classroom block will be a designated learning and play area for our Year 7 students while they adapt to secondary school life,’ he said.

The project will include a classroom block, inclusive education classroom, science laboratory, visual arts room, drama and dance room, staff study area and a new car park for staff and parents.

Mr Spice recently distributed a flyer about the construction after residents expressed concern over removal of nearby bushland.
