Schools help make safety message stick

Justin BianchiniWanneroo Times

More than 2000 safety stickers have been distributed since Greenwood Primary School board member John Logan came up with the idea to target driving near schools three months ago.

Local councillor John Chester requested the stickers from the City of Joondalup and children have been taking them home to their families and neighbours.

"I expect that the success of our program will lead to parents of children attending other schools in the City of Joondalup wanting to know when their kids will be arriving home with bin stickers," Mr Logan said.
