Scouting for |funding

Just weeks after starting, the group has almost reached full capacity with 67 members, and needs almost $34,000 in equipment for weekly activities and camping trips.

Parent committee chairwoman Renee Solomon said scouts gave children social and leadership skills needed to reach their full potential.

The group will be fundraising throughout the year, with sausage sizzles.
