Senior Sergeant Gary Saunders said detectives made an arrest on October 1 in relation to 12 trailer-loads of property seized from Meridian Drive, Mullaloo during a search on September 17.
Sgt Saunders said they charged a 20-year-old man from Mullaloo with three counts of possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property and two counts of receiving stolen property.
‘The three charges of possessing stolen property relate to a $4000 motorcycle, a set of stolen number plates and the other charge was in relation to a quantity of property from burglaries,’ he said. ‘He was charged with receiving a stolen motorcycle worth $11,000, and one count of receiving a $40,000 stolen motor car.’
Sgt Saunders said the man had been released on bail from the court after his first appearance on October 2, allegedly breached his bail, was re-arrested and released again by the court, with his next court date set for Wednesday.
