Dr Hyndes sympathised with attack victims and families but said ‘we should tread cautiously’ before enacting kill orders.
‘We can’t just go into shark cull mode and decide to kill the sharks when we don’t even know if the sharks that have been killed, or might be killed, are the sharks that have attacked people,’ he said.
