Shots fired at car on suburban street

POLICE are investigating a shooting at a property in Perth’s north this morning.

At about 4:30am, a gun was discharged into a parked car at a Dorneywood Way residence in Landsdale.

Police said it was approximately a .22 calibre firearm and was discharged between seven and 13 times.

They believedĀ a person involved in the incident was riding a motorcycle last seen heading along Heathfield Drive towards Mirrabooka Avenue at about 4:35am.

This was the second time in a month a car was damaged by a firearm on Dorneywood Way.

Joondalup detectives found a damaged car on November 14 after the resident reported hearing a loud noise at about 4am.
