THE 2015 Wanneroo Agricultural Show Schedule is now available online and at libraries in the cities of Wanneroo and Joondalup.
Among the first to check out the new schedule was Tayla Short, an award winning member of the Wanneroo Horse and Pony Club, and her 10-year-old former thoroughbred racehorse No Flirt.
Tayla was interested in the equestrian events to be conducted by her club at this year’s show, and No Flirt was interested in the carrot hidden in the schedule.
The schedule lists hundreds of opportunities for exhibitors to show their wares and skills ranging from cooking, art and so much more in the Margaret Cockman Pavilion.
The equestrian events have moved away from the traditional show jumping this year and will feature some novelty rides and exhibitions, including the Western Bending Race, Boots ‘n’ Barrel Race and the Bending Hurdle Race.
All the big rides will be back this year in a bigger and brighter sideshow alley.
And there will be lots of fun for smaller folk with games on the arena.
The Wanneroo Show is an annual community event run by volunteers.
It will be held Friday, November 27, from 4pm to 10.30pm, and Saturday, November 28, from 9am to 10.30pm at the Wanneroo Showground on Wanneroo Road, Wanneroo.
