Volunteers will operate barbecues outside hardware stores in Edgewater, Hillarys and Clarkson this Sunday to raise funds for the Wanneroo, Quinns Rocks and Two Rocks volunteer bushfire brigades.

‘Bunnings will be holding a sausage sizzle to raise money for volunteer fire brigades and their staff are volunteering their time to undertake this,’ Wanneroo’s chief bush fire control officer Phil Hay said.

Bunnings Warehouse Mindarie complex manager Peter Kingwell said the Aussie Day community fundraiser barbecue was a great way for the local community to show their appreciation for volunteer fire services.
