THE family of a man who suffered fatal injuries when he crashed a skateboard while holding on to a moving car in Landsdale will hold his funeral today.

Hendrix Hayward (23) died in Royal Perth Hospital last Tuesday after falling from a skateboard about 3.45pm on Heathfield Drive on Saturday, September 10.

Police said the driver was not aware the Thornlie man had grabbed hold of the car until he saw him fall.

Police said the driver of the Toyota Corolla, from which Mr Hayward fell, had helped with inquiries. Anyone who saw the crash or the vehicle and Mr Hayward can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
