The bollards currently placed in the gap in the median on Wanneroo Road before the traffic lights ” allowing drivers to make u-turns ” will be a permanent closure.

Wanneroo councillor and Roadwise Committee member Dot Newton said the traffic light upgrade included the introduction of right-turn arrows leaving Hastings Street, Conlan Avenue and Wanneroo Road.

‘Thank goodness this is going to happen and at last our residents will be able to enter and leave in relative safety, which at the moment is not the case,’ she said.
