At the August 2011 council meeting, councillors decided to ask Main Roads WA to increase the speed limit between Hepburn Avenue and Gnangara Road from 60km/h to 70km/h.
At last month’s council meeting, councillors supported a motion on notice by Cr Domenic Zappa to request a speed limit review of Mirrabooka Avenue with the view to decreasing the speed limit to 60km/h again.
Staff did not support the recommendation.
