The AFL-themed campaign features six seven-week old guide dog puppies being drafted to the game.

VenuesWest chairman Graham Partridge said they were honoured to help Guide Dogs WA.

‘This is just a small gesture helping a significant cause,’ he said.

‘I hope this advertising campaign will highlight to as many people as possible the importance of training these guide dogs to assist people with vision impairment.’

Guide Dogs WA will receive six puppies by the end of June and through this campaign, it hopes to raise funds to sponsor the puppies and ensure they can join the guide dog training program.

‘It costs $30,000 per dog, so a total of $180,000 needs to be raised by June 30,’ Guide Dogs WA chief executive Clare Allen said.

Community groups are invited to visit www.communityguidedogs.com.au. Groups to raise $30,000 will have the chance to name their sponsored puppy, get quarterly updates and the opportunity to join puppy class every six months.
