ST Jude’s Disability Services hosted a golf event in Marangaroo this month to celebrate the International Day of Disability.

North regional manager Anne Livingston said the disability service provider ran the December 5 event in partnership with Marangaroo Golf Club using a grant from the Department of Communities’ Disability Services.

“The purpose was to introduce people with a disability to golf and offer a golf clinic which was provided by the two golf professionals at the Marangaroo Golf Club, Robert Farley and Bronte Colbert,” she said.

“Twenty-five people with disabilities enjoyed the morning learning the art of driving and putting with competition throughout the morning followed by a lunch.
