“For too long we get distracted by the news from Sydney or Canberra, but now it’s WA’s turn to take the spotlight,” he said. “I want to hear from fired up people who are passionate about Perth and love WA. I want to know if they want to change the government, or politics as a whole.”

As listed on the ballot paper, Wanneroo candidates are independent Max Wilson, Robyn Treacy (The Greens), Joseph Darcy (Pauline Hanson’s One Nation), Linley Pass (Australian Christians), Peter Rosengrave (Micro Business Party), Greg Macpherson (Julie Matheson for WA), incumbent Paul Miles (Liberal Party) and Sabine Winton (WA Labor).
