A MAN charged with allegedly stealing about $13,500 worth of cigarettes has since been linked to three other retail burglaries.

It is alleged that on August 29 the man entered Freechoice Tobacconist in Alexander Heights and when staff were distracted, he stole two boxes containing cartons of cigarettes.

“When staff caught on they chased him and he dropped one box,” Warwick Police senior sergeant Brendan Moore said.
