THE City of Wanneroo is offering free bumper stickers encouraging motorists to slow down.

Mayor Tracey Roberts said she urged drivers to display the ‘I Slow Down in Wanneroo’ stickers to support the campaign and remind others of the safety benefits of reducing speed.

“I encourage our community to embrace this new campaign which reminds drivers that everyone has a responsibility to drive safely,” she said.

“Many families and children are present on local streets and slowing down is crucial, as is taking into account road conditions and other road users.”

The stickers are available from Wanneroo Civic Centre and libraries in the City.
