Volunteers responded to Clarkson, Iluka and Mindarie residents with collapsed or wet ceilings, mostly in the 12 hours from 7pm on Wednesday.
Western Power crews restored power to about 1200 northern suburbs homes including 380 near Carramar Golf Course and 150 in Neerabup where lightning hit power lines.
Another 102 homes in Girrawheen and 400 in Gingin also lost power due to storm damage.

‘It was the wettest Perth day since June 25, 2011 and the wettest May day since May 2, 2005,’ bureau spokesman Neil Bennett said.
