City of Joondalup hosts Music in the Park at Hillarys, features Thelma Plum

MORE than 5000 people turned out to Mawson Park in Hillarys on November 15 to see indie roots artist Thelma Plum take the stage to headline the first Music in the Park concert for the 2014-15 series.

Indie pop four-piece Stillwater Giants and local folk pop singer songwriter Helen Shanahan also graced the stage at the free City of Joondalup event.

The next concert will be held at Santiago Park in Ocean Reef on December 6, featuring high-energy Fremantle ska band The Brow and local outfit Odette Mercy and her Soul Atomics.
